Basketball Recap: Brandon Snags Tenth Victory in Last 12 Games

Brandon had won three straight home games and Braylon Barnes did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Brandon Bulldogs came out on top against the Petal Panthers by a score of 64-55 thanks in part to Barnes, who went 8 for 20 on his way to 26 points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games.

The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Jackson, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds. What's more, he also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

Brandon is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points per game. As for Petal, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
