Basketball Recap: Stafford Takes a Loss

Stafford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 35-23 to the East Windsor Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-21 back in January.

East Windsor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bailey Winner, who posted 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards Winner has posted since back in February of 2024. Taylor Jackson was another key player, putting up seven points along with ten rebounds and seven steals.

Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for East Windsor, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Stafford has already played their next matchup (against East Windsor/Bloomfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for East Windsor, they will take on Civic Leadership at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
