Softball Recap: Marble Falls Wins Going Away Against Canyon Lake

After losing to Canyon Lake the last time they met, Marble Falls decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went the Marble Falls Mustangs' way against Canyon Lake on Tuesday as the Marble Falls Mustangs made off with a 16-6 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Marble Falls and bumps their season record up to 7-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14 runs. As for Canyon Lake, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Marble Falls has already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Lorena on the 22nd. Canyon Lake has also already played their next matchup (against Shoemaker), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
