Watchung Hills Regional strolled into their game  on Monday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Immaculata Spartans as they made off with  a  7-1 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Mia Simon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 14 Ks. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 5.9  strikeouts per game.
 On the hitting side,  Olivia Videla and  Riley Bobrowski did most of the damage at the plate:  Videla  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base, while  Bobrowski  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.  Kelly Shikar was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Watchung Hills Regional  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Immaculata only managed three  hits.
Watchung Hills Regional pushed their record up to 10-0 with the  victory, which was their 14th straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Immaculata,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-6.

As for Immaculata, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against North Hunterdon  at 3:45  p.m. The Spartans will also cruise into their next  game with the timing on their side: the Lions will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's  contest.
