Baseball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-4 to the Rock Hill Blue Hawks.

Karson Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That double marked the first that he hit this season.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 4-18-1. As for Rock Hill, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Coming up, Heritage will head out to face off against Lebanon Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rock Hill, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on McKinney at 7:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
