Jasper hadn't done well against Pelham recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Vikings came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won three matches in a row.

Jasper easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13.

Jasper's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Pelham, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

Coincidentally, Jasper and Pelham will both be playing Northridge the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
