Volleyball Game Preview: Harding County Ranchers vs. Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils + How To Watch

The Harding County Ranchers will challenge the Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Harding County has three straight victories, Hettinger/Scranton has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Harding County made easy work of McIntosh and carried off a 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Harding County's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-9.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Hettinger/Scranton and Mott-Regent, and Mott-Regent kept the tradition alive. The Black Devils came up short against the Wildfire on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Black Devils have suffered against the Wildfire since November 7, 2016.

Hettinger/Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-2. As for Harding County, their victory bumped their record up to 24-3.

Harding County skirted past Hettinger/Scranton 3-2 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Will the Ranchers repeat their success, or do the Black Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
