Minnetonka is 6-1 against Waconia since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Skippers will venture away from home to face off against the Wildcats at 2:00 p.m. Minnetonka will be strutting in after a win while Waconia will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Minnetonka beat Buffalo 8-4. The Skippers haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Minnetonka got a great performance from Mateo Aldecocea as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brody Vogstrom, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Carter Storts, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Waconia had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Buffalo by a score of 4-3.
