Softball Recap: Coudersport Falls to Northern Potter in First Game of Season

Coudersport had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Northern Potter Panthers on Monday, falling 17-2. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Coudersport saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lillian Clinger, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Northern Potter's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Coincidentally, Coudersport and Northern Potter will both be playing Galeton the next time they take the field. Northern Potter will head out to face Galeton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Coudersport will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
