Basketball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short

Cimarron was the 44-28 winner over Elida when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cimarron Rams received a blow on Monday as they fell 41-26 to the Elida Tigers.

Cimarron has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Elida, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cimarron will face off against Roy/Mosquero at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elida, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gateway Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
