Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 48-24 to the Mesa Jackrabbits. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jackrabbits this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-26 back in January.

Despite the loss, Skyline saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jordan Seiuli dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Seiuli also set a new season-high mark in three-point shooting accuracy with 50%.

Marlee Straub went supernova for Mesa, going 5-for-11 en route to 13 points along with eight boards and four steals. Straub is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Tilley Cummard, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 10 points and eight rebounds.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Mesa, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.
