Football Recap: East Liverpool Takes a Loss

East Liverpool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the St. Clairsville Red Devils and fell 45-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Potters were not able to get on the board.

Even if they lost, East Liverpool's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In that department, Maleek Goatley was the leader with two.

East Liverpool's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. Clairsville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, East Liverpool will be playing at home against Cambridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Clairsville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Wheeling Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
