Basketball Recap: Akron Makes It 16 in a Row at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Akron had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They breezed past the Southwestern Trojans to the tune of 59-30. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Akron's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Southwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
