Baseball Recap: Timberlake Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Timberlake duked it out with Arnett on Thursday. The Tigers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 8-4. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly four runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Timberlake and bumps their season record up to 17-15. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-11 Medford and 7-16 Arnett. As for Arnett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Timberlake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-5 draw against Medford on the 23rd. Hopefully Arnett paid attention to the Tigers' matchup: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Tigers on Friday.
