Softball Recap: Forest Park Comes Up Short

Forest Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Poly Engineers, falling 21-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Foresters were not able to get on the board.

Forest Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Poly, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Forest Park is set to take on their familiar foe Edmondson-Westside at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Poly will challenge rival Academy for College and Career Exploration on Tuesday.
