Baseball Recap: New Miami Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

New Miami had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Tri-County North Panthers, falling 15-2. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

The win was the sixth in a row for Tri-County North, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, New Miami will welcome Miami Valley Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Tri-County North, they are taking a road trip to square off against Eaton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
