Softball Recap: St. Mary Central Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Mary Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 21-6 to the Woodmore Wildcats. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Ella Brownell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two triples and three runs. Gianna Flewelling was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

St. Mary Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Woodmore, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

St. Mary Central Catholic has already played their next game, an 11-3 defeat against Danbury on the 11th. As for Woodmore, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Gibsonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
