While Mount St. Mary's win against Norman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rockets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Tigers on Saturday. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Mount St. Mary was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-16, 20-25, 22-25, 25-21, 18-16.

Mount St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Norman, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 5-1.

Looking ahead, Mount St. Mary will venture away from home to face off against Booker T. Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Norman, they will take on Edmond Santa Fe in a tournament on Saturday.
