After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northport, Cusick was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Columbia Lions with a sharp 5-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 back in September.

Cusick now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cusick will take on rival Republic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Columbia is set to challenge their familiar foe Curlew at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
