Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delano). Everything went their way against the Mound-Westonka White Hawks on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-1 win. The Tigers have beaten the White Hawks the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the White Hawks has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Carter Van Beusekom, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Jack Scanlon was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Delano kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive contests.

Delano's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Mound-Westonka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
