Western got themselves on the board against Seminole Ridge on Wednesday, but Seminole Ridge never followed suit. They enjoyed a cozy 18-0 victory over the Seminole Ridge Hawks. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won five games in a row.

Western didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tearra Mortimer and Isasbella Escandon.

Western's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.7 points over those games. As for Seminole Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Western has already played their next contest (against Nova), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Seminole Ridge will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wellington at 7:15 p.m. on April 3rd.
