Softball Recap: West-Oak Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Crescent

West-Oak faced Crescent in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Warriors lost 13-6 to the Tigers. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this matchup were averaging 3.83 runs allowed.

Kylie Perkins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs while going 2-for-4.

West-Oak's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-6. As for Crescent, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

As of now, neither West-Oak nor Crescent have any future games scheduled.
