West Boylston's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Gardner Wildcats. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lions needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

West Boylston now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Gardner, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Boylston will challenge Bromfield at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Gardner, they will venture away from home to take on Quabbin Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
