Soccer Game Preview: Reagan vs. Somerset Academy

The Reagan Bison will venture away from home to face off against the Somerset Academy Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Reagan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Reagan fell victim to Mourning and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Sharks by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Somerset Academy put another one in the bag last Monday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let Boca Raton onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering the Panthers have won six games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Boca Raton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alex Carre, Cory Edwards, Jorge Molina, and Sebastian Fernadez.

Somerset Academy pushed their record up to 8-0-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Reagan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-2.
