Softball Recap: Terrell Comes Up Short

Terrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 22-4 to Corsicana. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Corsicana this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-7 on March 5th.

Preslie Pritchett was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Tinslee Savell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Terrell's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Corsicana, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terrell will challenge Crandall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Corsicana, they will face off against Midlothian Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jaguars have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season.
