Football Recap: El Modena Comes Up Short + How To Watch

El Modena was the 23-20 winner over Dana Hills when they last played one another back in November of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Vanguards took a hard 30-14 fall against the Dolphins on Friday.

Although El Modena took the loss, they still got scores from Ethan Sorenson and Jason Ramos.

Dana Hills got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Radley Geiss out in front who rushed for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Geiss' longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of James Leicester, who picked up 156 receiving yards and one TD.

El Modena's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dana Hills, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Modena will welcome Newport Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dana Hills, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Esperanza at 7:00 p.m.
