Soccer Recap: Branchville Takes a Loss

Branchville came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Baptist Hill Bobcats, falling 3-0. One thing that didn't help Branchville's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Daniel Pensil.

Branchville dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Baptist Hill, their record now sits at 2-6-1.

Looking ahead, Branchville will be playing at home against St. John's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baptist Hill, they will head out to take on Bethune-Bowman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baptist Hill will be up against Bethune-Bowman's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.25 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
