Recap: Governor Livingston Highlanders vs. Hillsborough Raiders

On Saturday, Governor Livingston wound up with the same score they had in their last game (55-37), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points they have scored all season.

Hillsborough's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Green led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Losch, who scored nine points along with three steals.

Governor Livingston's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Hillsborough, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Governor Livingston will head out on the road to face off against Cranford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cranford will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Hillsborough, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rutgers Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Rutgers Prep is ranked 44th, while Hillsborough is ranked 36th).
