Soccer Recap: Durham Academy Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Durham Academy was not quite Wesleyan Christian Academy's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2. If Durham Academy were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Wesleyan Christian Academy when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Durham Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Durham Academy will head out to challenge Riverside-Durham at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they will square off against Reagan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
