Volleyball Recap: Edina Hornets vs. Eden Prairie Eagles
Edina entered their tilt with Eden Prairie on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Eden Prairie Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Finley Lane, who had 18 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Lane has posted in her last eight matches. Avery Jensen was another key player, getting 16 digs.
