Rural Retreat hadn't done well against Honaker recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Indians narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since March 12, 2024.

Rural Retreat now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Honaker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.
