Baseball Game Preview: Kerman Lions vs. Washington Union Panthers

For the second straight game, Kerman will face off against Washington Union. The Lions will square off against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Kerman took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Washington Union by a score of 4-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

For Washington Union's part, Cole Roth was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double. Austin Pombo also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Kerman's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Washington Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.
