Volleyball Recap: Marshall Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Marshall's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They skirted past the Brownsboro Bears 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mavericks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Brownsboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.

Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Carthage on the 6th. As for Brownsboro, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against New Diana on the 6th.
