Jurupa Hills is a perfect 3-0 against Carter since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Spartans will welcome the Lions at 3:45 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Jurupa Hills and seven for Carter dating back to last season.

Jurupa Hills blew Colton out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Colton got their revenge. The Spartans fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Spartans have suffered since March 9, 2024.

Emilie Castrejon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Montes, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, while it was Carter who put the first points on the board on Wednesday, it was Kaiser who put up more. The Lions fell just short of the Cats by a score of 8-6.

Jurupa Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Carter, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Jurupa Hills skirted past Carter 6-5 when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
