Softball Recap: Woodmore's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After soaring to 21 runs the game before, Woodmore was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against the Gibsonburg Golden Bears, falling 17-1. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Woodmore fell to 2-1. As for Gibsonburg, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Woodmore has already played their next game, an 11-2 win against Port Clinton on the 17th. As for Gibsonburg, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-4 victory against Danbury on the 21st.
