Volleyball Recap: Rochester's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

It was a good run, but Rochester unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Montini Catholic Broncos.

Peyton Zeidler paced Rochester's offense, picking up 16 kills. Zeidler got some help from Cami Tinder and her 23 assists.

Montini Catholic found their leader in sophomore Hope Garland, who had nine digs and three aces. Garland has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Montini Catholic, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-10.

Rochester has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against East St. Louis on the 18th. As for Montini Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Breese Central on the 18th.
