Baseball Recap: Manti Takes a Loss

After flying high against Delta on Friday, Manti came back down to earth. The Templars took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Juab Wasps on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Templars of the 15-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Manti saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colt Madsen, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Manti's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Juab, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Looking ahead, Manti will face off against Richfield at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Juab, they are taking a road trip to square off against Canyon View at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something the Wasps surely won't give up without a fight.
