Volleyball Recap: Idaly Sotelo's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Plains over Tascosa

West Plains lost against Tascosa on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves fell 2-0 to the Rebels. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While West Plains ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Idaly Sotelo, who had 15 digs and one assist. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Wineberg, who had nine digs and seven assists.

West Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Tascosa, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

West Plains has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Whitehouse on the 16th. As for Tascosa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Canyon on the 15th.
