Volleyball Recap: Richfield Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Richfield had no problem doing just that on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Layton Christian Academy Eagles.

Richfield's win bumped their record up to 12-17. As for Layton Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Richfield will square off against Canyon View at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Layton Christian Academy, they will challenge Emery at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
