The Sandhills Valley Mavericks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 40-19 walloping at the hands of Sutherland. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sandhills Valley in their matchups with Sutherland: they've now lost four in a row.
