On Tuesday Payton Calhoun struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Calhoun has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her seventh in a row with less than two walks. On the season, she has an ERA of 6.68 over 51.3 innings pitched.
