Volleyball Recap: Raleigh Charter Comes Up Short

Raleigh Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns, falling 3-0. The Phoenix were not able to make up for their defeat to the Unicorns from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Raleigh Charter ultimately came up short, they really made NCSSM: Durham work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 27-25, 25-9.

Raleigh Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for NCSSM: Durham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raleigh Charter will host Research Triangle Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for NCSSM: Durham, they will take on Neuse Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
