Basketball Recap: Evansville HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Evansville HomeSchool was the 71-68 winner over LKY when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Evansville HomeSchool Thunderbolts had to suffer through a 54-15 loss at the hands of the LKY Saints.

It was another big night for Hannah Simmon, who went 9-for-18 to rack up 23 points and eight steals for LKY. The contest was Simmon's ninth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Courtney Simmon, who posted seven points in addition to six boards and five steals.

Evansville HomeSchool now has a losing record of 1-2. As for LKY, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Evansville HomeSchool nor LKY have any future games scheduled.
