Fans got a thrill when Dallas Bassett and Connor Trevino connected against Okanogan. The longest such play in 1A Caribou Trail this season, the connection resulted in 82 yards.

Tonasket was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fifth in the league. The Tigers beat Omak 35-21 earlier in the week.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Quincy's Bassett and Trevino have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Bassett has thrown for 1,375 yards this season, while Trevino has 29 catches for 704 yards. Kai Clausen from Chelan leads the league in rushing with 839 yards.

The Mountain Goats' offense has racked up 215 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Cashmere has allowed only 132 on the year.

A big matchup in 1A Caribou Trail this week will be when Chelan takes on the Bulldogs. At the moment, Travis Domser's team is in third, while Cashmere is in second.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Mountain Goats take on Phil Zukowski's team. Chelan has allowed 137 points this season, while the Bulldogs have given up 132.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Cashmere beat Cascade 48-20. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
