Brookville dropped their record down to 13-9 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Liberty Christian Bulldogs, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-0 loss two weeks ago.

As for Liberty Christian, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games.

For Liberty Christian's part, Griffin Bryant tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

At the plate, Reid Fanney was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Hall, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

As of now, neither Brookville nor Liberty Christian have any future games scheduled.
