Basketball Recap: Triten Wallace's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Classen SAS over Midwest City

Classen SAS lost against Midwest City back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Classen SAS Comets fell 64-53 to the Midwest City Bombers. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the Bombers are ranked 27th).

Several Comets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Triten Wallace, who posted 16 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Amontae Montague, who earned eight points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks.

Classen SAS has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Midwest City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.

As of now, neither Classen SAS nor Midwest City have any future games scheduled.
