Basketball Recap: Hesston's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Hesston won the last time they faced Halstead and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hesston Swathers came out on top against the Halstead Dragons by a score of 61-48. Given the Swathers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Dragons are ranked 199th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Hesston and bumps their season record up to 11-1. As for Halstead, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8.
