While Amite School Center might've come up empty on Tuesday, Will Walsh wasn't going down without a fight. Walsh was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over 6.1 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Even though Walsh couldn't lead Amite School Center over Riverfield Academy, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Walsh's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Rebels' seven-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Walsh and the Rebels surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
