Volleyball Recap: Comer Takes a Loss

Comer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Rauner Wildcats. If the Catamounts were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11.

Comer's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rauner, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Comer will head out to square off against Hansberry at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Catamounts are facing the Bengals at the right time seeing as the Bengals are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rauner, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on The Noble Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
