Hudsonville won the last time they faced Coopersville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Broncos. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hudsonville took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13.

Maggie Szlachcic paced Hudsonville's offense, picking up eight kills. Szlachcic got some help from Sofie Sanders and her 14 assists. Szlachcic also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Whitney Swiercz, each putting up three.

Hudsonville's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Coopersville, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-12-1.

Hudsonville has already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Forest Hills Northern on the 4th. As for Coopersville, they will take on Mona Shores at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
